Secluded in a shady grove on the landward side of Arugam Bay, Hideaway’s main guesthouse and white-washed, thatch-roofed cabins have a relaxed and homely atmosphere and are set in lush tropical gardens.
You can enjoy some of the finest gastronomy on the east coast in Hideaway’s restaurant and afterwards relax in the cosy lounge complete with satellite TV / DVD / CD. A variety of rooms are available at Hideaway, on the upper floor, the open verandah leads to 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with hot water.
Each room is elegantly appointed with a double bed, mosquito netting and ceiling fans. Amidst the lush gardens are 9 bungalows capable of accommodating from two guests up to small families of four. All have en-suite bathrooms and their own private verandahs. Rustic fan-cooled double, triple and quadruple family bungalows are also available as are aircon double bungalows.
